Valley Forge hotel has new owner
The Inn at Valley Forge, formerly the Hilton Valley Forge, will get a $17 million makeover and a new name from its new owners, Capital Hospitality Group of Washington, the company said today.

Managed by Dolce International in Montvale, N.J. the hotel will be called the Dolce Valley Forge and will be the company's first Pennsylvania property. The new owners and managers will add a spa, upgrade the pool area, re-do restaurants, renovate the rooms and build high-tech meeting space. There will be 326 guest rooms.
Capital took over the 36-year-old hotel just after midnight today from its longtime owner, Martin Field, of Field Associates in King of Prussia. The purchase price was not disclosed.
