Steven Miller joins Ballard Spahr

Center City law firm Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP said today Steven M. Miller, a prominent finance lawyer, has joined the firm as a partner in its Philadelphia office.

Miller was a partner at the Philadelphia law firm Blank Rome.

His focus is in financial services, including secured and asset-based lending. He represents banks, commercial finance companies, mezzanine lenders and hedge funds.

"Any time we can attract a lawyer of Steve's caliber, it is terrific for Ballard and for our clients," Ballard Spahr chairman Arthur Makadon said in a statement. "In the area of finance, Steve is one of the best in the city."

Ballard Spahr has 500 lawyers in eleven offices in the Mid-Atlantic corridor and the Western United States.
