Airgas complete purchase of Refron
Airgas Inc., the Radnor distributor of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, said today that it had completed it acquisition of the assets and operations of Refron Inc., effective at the close of business on July 31. Refron, a Long Island City, N.Y.-based nationwide reseller and distributor of refrigerants that also provides technical and refrigerant reclamation services, generated $93 million in revenue last year.
