Temple Health executive resigns
Robert E. Pezzoli, chief operating officer of Temple University Health System and interim CEO of Temple University Hospital, has resigned.

Rebecca Harmon, a health system spokeswoman, said today she did not know when the resignation would be effective.
She said Pezzoli plans to "pursue other opportunities."
Joseph W. "Chip" Marshall, president and chief executive officer of the health system, announced his resignation in November. Edmond F. Notebaert, whose title is senior executive vice president for health affairs at Temple University - that's a newly-created position above Marshall's - began work in November.
