3 new tenants at University City Science Center

Three operations - two of them new to this country - have set up at the nonprofit University City Science Center in West Philadelphia.

The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and the GADORE Center USA have established U.S. offices at the University City Science Center at 3711 Market St. through the center's Global Soft Landing program, which is designed to provide U.S. entre to foreign concerns.

The RSC is the largest organization in Europe for advancing the chemical sciences, and gets involved in education, conferences, science policy and the promotion of chemistry to the public.

GADORE (German-American Dialog on Renewable Energy) Center USA L.L.C. promotes small- and medium-sized renewable-energy companies from Germany.

Meanwhile, the National Center for Patient Interactive Research, a nonprofit science, policy and education center, has begun operations at the University City Science Center's Port business incubator, at 3701 Market St.
