Gasoline up again in Phila; steady in S. Jersey

The average for a gallon of regular gasoline in Philadelphia rose by another penny overnight, but held steady in South Jersey, AAA Mid-Atlantic said today.

The gallon average in southeastern Pennsylvania this morning was $2.71, the auto club said. In South Jersey it was $2.52.

The national average rose a cent, to $2.68.

The Philadelphia price is up 36 cents in the last month; South Jersey's price is up 35 cents in the same period.    - Inquirer Staff
