NFI says 2010 revenues up 11%

NFI, a privately held Cherry Hill provider of trucking and other logistics services nationwide, said its 2010 revenue exceeded $900 million, an increase of 11 percent over last year's revenue of $810 million.

NFI, a privately held Cherry Hill provider of trucking and other logistics services nationwide, said its 2010 revenue exceeded $900 million, an increase of 11 percent over last year's revenue of $810 million.

This year's increase was aided by NFI's purchase of IPD Global Inc., a Canadian company that transports perishables throughout North America, NFI said.

NFI, which employs 5,600, operates nearly 2,000 tractors and more than 7,200 trailers.

The Brown family of Vineland, which has owned NFI since its founding in 1932, is also a major stockholder of Sun Bancorp Inc.    - Harold Brubaker
