US Airways adds flights to Quebec from Philadelphia

US Airways Group Inc. today began its first daily nonstop service year-around to Quebec City, Quebec, from Philadelphia International Airport.

There are three flights daily to the Canadian city, at 9:30 a.m., 2:49 p.m., and 8:35 p.m. Return flights depart Quebec City at 6:25 a.m., 12:15 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.

From Philadelphia, US Airways serves 36 cities in Europe and the Middle East; 14 in Latin America and the Caribbean, and five destinations in Canada.

Last month, the airline, Philadelphia's dominant carrier with 456 daily departures, reinstated seasonal summer service from here to Athens, Greece; Glasgow, Scotland; Lisbon, Portugal; and Venice, Italy. Seasonal summer service to Barcelona, Spain, began in March.    -Linda Loyd
