PFM financial advisors pick Bonow as CEO

PFM Group, Philadelphia, a major financial advisory firm to state and local governments, said today it selected John H. Bonow, a 20-year PFM veteran, as chief executive officer.

PFM Group, Philadelphia, a major financial advisory firm to state and local governments, said today it selected John H. Bonow, a 20-year PFM veteran, as chief executive officer.

He will replace F. John White, who will become chairman.

Bonow is a managing director in PFM's Seattle office, which he opened in 2002. He will move to Philadelphia to start his new job by the end of this year, PFM said.

PFM employs 450 in 31 offices nationwide. Since January, privately held PFM advised clients on $15.5 billion of total debt issuances in 352 separate transactions, the company said.    -Harold Brubaker
