The renovations have been billed as the most ambitious ever at the mall, which opened in 1961.
The interior was redesigned, the food court moved, a two-story parking garage constructed, a row of restaurants created, and new high-end stores added to the mix.
The most prominent new tenant, though, will be Nordstrom, all 138,000 square feet of it, filled with gleaming goods to tempt those unfamiliar with a credit crunch.
Now Jersey's gentry won't have to hike to King of Prussia to shop what had been the area's only Nordstrom.
The full store won't open till 10 a.m., but early birds can preen their feathers at 8 a.m. by "shopping our world of cosmetics," according to a spokeswoman. "Beauty experts" will be on hand offering "complimentary consultations and demonstrations - along with some beautiful surprises."
