Pedro Ramos to run law firm's lobbying arm

Former City Solicitor Pedro A. Ramos has joined the law firm of Trujillo Rodriguez & Richards LLC as a partner and will be a managing principal of its lobbying and government-relations subsidiary, OnPoint Public & Private Solutions.

Nora Dowd Eisenhower, a former secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Aging and former executive director of AARP Pennsylvania, has also joined OnPoint as a principal.

Ramos, a former member - including president - of Philadelphia's Board of Education, is a former Philadelphia managing director (2005-2007) and city solicitor (2004-05) under Mayor John F. Street. He became a partner at the Blank Rome law firm in 2007.

Name partner Ken Trujillo also is a former city solicitor (2000-2001).    - Chris Mondics
