Oksana Baiul, the professional figure skater from Ukraine who took home a gold medal in the 1994 Winter Olympics, is selling her New Hope home for $875,000.

Baiul purchased the 4,060-square-foot colonial home in February 2012 for $580,000, according to public records. She renovated most of the home and has decided to sell it now because of the improved market, listing agent Melanie Stecura of Kurfiss Sotheby's International Realty told the Wall Street Journal.

The home, located at 1488 River Road, has four bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths. It has two acres of property, and includes a 2,048-square-foot space in the lower level that has a second kitchen, which can be used as an extra suite.

The property includes bamboo plantings that Baiul grew for a privacy fence, Stecura told the WSJ. Baiul completed other major renovations to the outdoor area as well, such as importing European roses and refurbishing the rear deck, Stecura says.

Other features of the home include a master bedroom with a sitting room, a wood-burning fireplace with a marble surround, and European hardwood floors.

According to the WSJ, Baiul has become a real estate investor in recent years. She's also in the process of negotiating an entertainment show on ice that will be performed in Las Vegas and Macau, China next year, the WSJ reports.
