Impact Dimensions, L.L.C., a minority-owned Center City promotional products supplier, has been selected as the official merchandise provider and manager for the Philadelphia 2016 Host Committee for the Democratic National Convention.

A spokeswoman for the Host Committee would not disclose how many Requests for Proposals (RFPs) it received, only that there was "a lot of interest . . . from both local companies as well as from firms across the country."

Impact Dimensions was formed in August of 2002 by Luis Liceaga, president, and Norbert McGettigan, Jr., chief operating officer, with headquarters at 18th and Market Streets and offices in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Missouri and California, according to its website. It is a Certified Hispanic Minority Business Enterprise.

Its responsibilities for the Host Committee will include marketing, selling and fulfilling orders for a variety of Host Committee merchandise and promotional materials, such as lanyards, key chains, towels, mugs, glasses and posters. They will be available for purchase at online stores and physical locations in Philadelphia for the Democratic National Convention, to be held July 25 to 28 at the Wells Fargo Center and the Convention Center.

The Democratic National Committee, a separate entity from the Host Committee, will have its own merchandise supplier.
