The transit authority also is inviting bulk orders from groups and organizations.

The one-day rail passes for the papal visit will be sold for Sept. 26 and 27 for $10 each. The passes will be required to travel on SEPTA Regional Rail trains on those days.

Individuals can buy up to 10 passes for each day while supplies last. Passes must be purchased for a specific station and time period. Two morning time periods will be available: 5:30 to 8:30 a.m., and 8:30 to noon each day.

Return trips will operate from 5:30 p.m. to midnight each day.

Groups and organizations interested in bulk sales can email SEPTA at papalbulkpasses@septa.org

In-person sales will begin Friday, during normal ticket office hours, at Jefferson Station and Suburban Station in Center City and at most of the 18 outlying stations that will be used during the two-day papal visit.

Details and ticket-office hours are available at www.septa.org/papalvisitphilly

SEPTA, which started online sales of the passes last month, plans to sell 175,000 passes for each of the two days.
