Person struck, killed by Amtrak train in Northeast Philadelphia
SEPTA trains are running again from Center City to Trenton; Amtrak trains through Philadelphia are delayed.
A person was struck and killed by an Amtrak train Monday morning in Northeast Philadelphia.
The incident happened near the Bridesburg Station and disrupted SEPTA Regional Rail Service to Trenton. That service, which had been suspended, has resumed, though trains into Philadelphia from Trenton were operating with delays of up to 15 minutes.
Amtrak trains through Philadelphia were also operating with delays after the fatality.
