Dan Gross | Borgata lands Billy Joel

DON'T BE surprised if Billy Joel makes his Atlantic City debut July 21 at the Borgata, in an invitation-only concert, part of the casino/hotel's star-studded fourth anniversary weekend.

DON'T BE surprised if

Billy Joel

makes his Atlantic City debut July 21 at the Borgata, in an invitation-only concert, part of the casino/hotel's star-studded fourth anniversary weekend.

We're told the Piano Man will perform for select Borgata customers, aka high rollers, the same night that the hotel promotes a show with Josh Groban at the Atlantic City Convention Center.

Joel has long been sought after by Slot City hotels, and concert-industry pros suggested yesterday that the Borgata must be paying him a ton. Joel's rep did not return our call yesterday. The Borgata is planning a weekend full of A-list entertainment July 20-22, but little has been revealed yet.

'Toastee Exposed' next week

Porn powerhouse Vivid Entertainment has announced that June 28 will be the release date for "Toastee Exposed," the 40-minute sex tape featuring Havertown's Jennifer Toof. The Haverford High grad is better-known as Toastee to fans of VH1's "Flavor of Love" and "Charm School." Toof has sworn to us she has nothing to do with the release. "This video was with an ex-boyfriend and I am devastated he is trying to make money off my fame," Toof told us last month.

Upset as she is, Toof said she won't fight the tape's release. The Northeastern U. grad is devoting her energy to choosing the right med school. Toof, 23, was booted from VH1's "Flavor of Love 2," in which contestants vie for the affections of Public Enemy's Flavor Flav, after Flav discovered semi-nude photos of Toof choking men with her legs on fetish Web site scissorvixens.com.

Volk and Platt together at last

Philadelphia Weekly Senior Writer Steve Volk is heading to Philadelphia magazine. Volk, 37, gave his notice yesterday to PW. He's worked for the paper for five years and previously spent three at the Pittsburgh Weekly. We sensed a certain chemistry between Volk and Philly mag editor Larry Platt, when, as we reported in April 2006, the two bald men swapped tips on head-shaving at a party at the home of Sasha Issenberg celebrating the release of Jason Fagone's "Horsemen of the Esophagus."

"After years of flirting with each other, Steve Volk and I have decided to, uh, do it," Platt wrote to his staff yesterday.

Author babe off the market

"The Big Love" author Sarah Dunn, also a former City Paper columnist, is gettin' hitched. Dunn and New York Observer editor Peter Stevenson will tie the knot this weekend in Tarrytown, N.Y.

Dunn, 37, and Stevenson, 43, have been dating since February 2006. This will be his first marriage, her second. Dunn, who formerly worked in television writing for shows such as "Murphy Brown," and "Spin City," is finishing up her second novel, "I'm Not Myself," for Little, Brown.

Asia invades Manayunk

In the hunger and heat of the moment, the four original members of Asia, aka Geoff Downs from the Buggles, Steve Howe of Yes, Carl Palmer of Emerson, Lake & Palmer, and John Whetton of King Crimson lunched yesterday in Manayunk at Bella Trattoria (4258 Main). The band plays tomorrow at the Keswick.

A very tiny country music fan

Congrats to 92.5 WXTU exec Mark Vizza and wife Tracie, who welcomed a son, Max Anthony, June 13. The little guy, who weighed six pounds, three ounces, has a big sister named Anna. The whole family is doing great. *
