WHILE RUMORED girlfriend

Cameron Diaz

was nowhere to be found, magician

Criss Angel

entertained female fans with magic tricks Saturday night at a party at the Borgata in Atlantic City.

That same day, news broke that Angel's wife, Joanne Sarantakos, had accused the illusionist of having an affair with Diaz, breaking up their marriage. Sarantakos says her husband kept his wife of five years "as a secret" to increase his sex appeal to female fans, her lawyer, Dominic Barbara, told the New York Post. The Post's Page Six broke news of Diaz and Angel dating a month ago.

A Diaz rep told People yesterday that she and Angel went on four dates long after Angel and Sarantakos separated and that they have "no current relationship."

"Sopranos" alum Robert Iler and "Grey's Anatomy" co-star Justin Chambers were also at the Borgata Saturday for Mixx nightclub's four-year anniversary. Angel, Iler and Chambers dined at Bobby Flay Steak, in separate parties, and Iler spent a good portion of the weekend plating in the Borgata's poker room.

Bucks boy breaks into fashion

Bucks County-bred Andrew Kanakis is straight, but he doesn't mind that most people assume he's gay because he works in the gay-heavy fashion industry.

"I get to look at half-naked models all day. Who's laughing now?" he says. Kanakis, 24, a Neshaminy High grad, is one of six people on SoapNet's "The Fashionista Diaries," which premieres Aug. 1.

He developed his interest in fashion when he started taking fashion classes at Philadelphia University "to meet girls." The former Kenneth Cole employee hopes to start his own clothing line eventually.

For now, he's shooting "The Fashionista Diaries," which follows his working as an assistant at Jane magazine. The show finishes taping in mid-September as the cast helps to produce Charlotte Ronson's show at New York's Fall Fashion Week.

Kanakis is used to getting his stones busted for his interest in fashion, and deservedly so, he says. While his friends were watching the Super Bowl, in Eagles-green spirit, Kanakis was sewing a green dress. He's not a big fan of reality TV, but he says that "The Fashionistas Diaries" should be full of sex and catfights. Kanakis can also now be seen on TLC's

"I've Got Nothing to Wear," which premiered at 10 p.m. Friday. He'll be seen on three of the five episodes of the fashion-makeover show.

Local babe looks for Poison love

Levittown's Pam McGarvey is among the bevy of babes competing for the affections of Poison frontman Bret Michaels on "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels." The show premieres July 15 at 9 p.m. on VH1. McGarvey, 23, listed "recent college graduate" as her occupation, according to VH1 publicists, who said she wasn't doing interviews.

I scream, you scream . . .

Gadzooks, the Bassett's Ice Cream flavor invented by 93.3 WMMR's "Preston and Steve," got a shout-out in People magazine this week. By the looks of Preston Elliot, he hasn't been eating much of the dessert, made of chocolate ice cream, caramel swirls, and chunks of chocolate and peanut-butter brownies. He's lost 58 pounds courtesy of LA Weight Loss and Krav Maga classes from Premiere Martial Arts.

But others are devouring the stuff. The ice cream, launched in April 2006, is now one of the top-selling flavors at Wawa.

* Speaking of "Preston and Steve," co-

host Kathy Romano says she is NOT stripping at Delilah's (100 Spring Garden) July 18 during its Diamond G-String Contest. A flier for the contest lists a "Guest Appearance" by Romano that led some to wonder whether she was dancing.

Sadly, she'll only be judging.

Out and about

Mets pitcher Orlando "El Duque" Hernandez dined with two pals Saturday at Morton's (1411 Walnut). Hernandez went for lobster bisque, Caesar salad and a porterhouse steak, and tipped generously. The hurler pitched one of the Mets' victories over the Phillies in Friday's doubleheader.

* U.S. Rep. Chaka Fattah, his NBC-10 anchor wife, Renee Chenault-Fattah and their daughters Chandler, 8, and Cameron, 3, spent the lovely Sunday afternoon biking together along Martin Luther King Drive.

Comic Carothers ATL-bound

Good luck to John DeBella sidekick/producer Brian Carothers, who leaves 102.9 WMGK July 27 for Atlanta's WKLS-FM, for which he'll host a morning drive show. Carothers has also made a name for himself around town as a stand-up comic. *
