Sylvester nuptial$$$

Rittenhouse Square denizens have been snickering about one of their former neighbors, corporate headhunter Patrick Sylvester, all weekend long. The obscenely lavish wedding of Sylvester and new bride Tammie, who live in Chicago, was featured on VH1's "My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding," and aired several times over the weekend. Sylvester is the ex-husband of PR pro Kelly Boyd. He and Boyd divorced in December 2005 after nine years of marriage. Less than a year after he moved to Chicago, he and Tammie held their expensive nuptials.

Crazy Horse becoming Rick's

Rick's Cabaret, a national gentlemen's-club chain, is in the process of taking over Crazy Horse Too (2908 S. Columbus). Rick's CEO Eric Langan announced that he plans to install a sports bar and a high-end steak house. Crazy Horse Too opened in January 2006. Its owner, Rick Rizzolo, was sentenced earlier this year to 366 days in jail on a federal tax-evasion conviction over his Las Vegas flagship club.

Out and about

"Goodfellas" star Joe Pesci spent the night at Atlantic City's Borgata the other day, while hanging there and playing craps with a crew of friends. Pesci made quite an entrance, arriving in the Marina District on an 80-foot yacht. Unlike on recent trips to the Jersey Shore, Pesci was not accompanied by his rumored girlfriend, supermodel Angie Everhart.

* D.L. Hughley kept Morton's (1411 Walnut) staff laughing as the comedian/actor dined at the steak house the other night with a handful of friends. Hughley went for a crabmeat cocktail and a Cajun filet mignon, and followed it up with Morton's hot chocolate cake with ice cream. He was here co-hosting 100.3 The Beat's morning show on Thursday and Friday.

* Don Rickles caught up with his old pal Jerry Blavat after the comedy legend's shows Friday and Saturday at Atlantic City's Hilton, where the Geator also hosts dance parties in the Beach Bar. The Geator brought a couple of bottles of wine for Rickles and his bride of 42 years, who was known as Barbara Sklar while growing up in Wynnefield. At Friday night's show, Rickles acknowledged another old pal in the crowd, Bobby Rydell, who stood up and received a hearty hand from the sold-out crowd.

* Phillies broadcaster Larry Andersen was friendly to folks at Keenan's Irish Pub in North Wildwood, where the former hurler hung out a few nights back.

* Oh Shea's (19th & Sansom) owner, Helen Shea, hosted a luncheon for Diane McGraw's Dare to Dream program on Friday. McGraw, a former wife of Tug McGraw, and Janet Papale, the wife of the "Invincible" Vince Papale, attended the event for the program, which encourages students to pursue sports/entertainment careers.

* Eagles broadcaster Mike Quick sipped two Stella Artois with his meal at the T.G.I. Friday's at Philadelphia International Airport the other day. The friendly former Iggles wide receiver chatted with patrons at another table about golf and left a great tip.

DMB devour Morimoto dishes

The Dave Matthews Band called in huge take-out orders to Morimoto (723 Walnut) for sushi and kobe beef carpaccio while in town last week playing at Camden's Tweeter Center.

Douglas dabbling in comedy

Former Eagle Hugh Douglas on Friday shot a few scenes for "Happy Birthday, Harris Malden," at the Lions Gate retirement community in Voorhees.

Douglas plays a staffer at the retirement home in the comedy written, directed and produced by local comedy troupe Sweaty Robot. Drexel graduates Nick Gregorio, Eric Levy, Juan Cardarelli and Matt Sanchez, and Rowan grad Ben Davidow have created comedy shorts together for years, available at sweatyrobot.com. This is their first feature film. They hope for theatrical release. *
