Sixers reserve point guard T.J. McConnell will miss Wednesday night's game against the Chicago Bulls at the Wells Fargo Center to attend his father-in-law's funeral in the Pittsburgh area.

The third-year veteran is expected to miss only that game. McConnell missed five games earlier this season with a strained AC joint in his left shoulder. He is averaging a career-high 7.7 points and 3.5 rebounds to go with 4.7 assists and 1.3 steals this season.
