Former CBS3 anchor Alycia Lane fired from her LA news station
Lane went national recently when she happened to be near the blast site of the Boston Marathon attacks.

LOOKS LIKE Alycia Lane is out of a job. Again.
The former CBS3 anchor, who will live in Philadelphia infamy, was axed from her spot at NBC4 in Los Angeles, according to the website TV Spy, which gave no reason for the split.
Lane went national recently when she happened to be near the blast site of the Boston Marathon attacks, speaking with the "Today" show and "NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams."
Also ousted was another familiar face: Sean Murphy, a former CW57 traffic reporter.
Lane had been with NBC4 since 2009, while Murphy had been with the station since 2010.
Stallone's punch up
Miles Chapman got punched by Sylvester Stallone. What Abington-raised boy could want anything more?
Chapman wrote Sly's new prison break movie "Escape Plan," also starring Arnold Schwarzenegger (in theaters tomorrow), and was on set to watch some of the shenanigans firsthand.
There was a fight between Schwarzenegger and Stallone that everyone thought needed some changes before it was committed to celluloid. "So I pretended I was Schwarzenegger, and Stallone punched me in the stomach while we're coming up with lines," Chapman told me. "It was pretty neat to be knocked out by Rocky Balboa."
Hot fundraiser?
I hear chef Jason Cichonski, who was just given the boot on Bravo's "Top Chef" (don't worry, he has his Queen Village restaurant Ela to keep him warm), is hosting a $5,000-a-couple fundraiser for state Rep. Brian Sims at COOK (253 S. 20th St.). Cichonski, named "Hottest Chef in Philly," cooking for the studly Sims? Is it getting warm in this kitchen, or is it just me?
Disney gets creepy
The much buzzed-about horror movie "Escape from Tomorrow," shot mostly in Disney World/Disneyland without the knowledge of Disney personnel, will have its Philly premiere Sunday at the Trocadero Theatre (1003 Arch St.) courtesy of the Awesome Fest.
The star of the Sundance smash? Levittown's own Roy Abramsohn, who went to Neshaminy High School.
The movie is the "story of a middle-aged man on vacation with his family who is having a mental breakdown on the last day of vacation with his wife and kids," Abramsohn told me. "It's almost like watching a David Lynch movie."
Abramsohn said his guerilla-filmmaking experience was only in danger once: When a Disney World security guard got suspicious and asked Abramsohn and the boy playing his son into his office. The problem? Abramsohn was wired up with sound equipment.
Abramsohn told me he had to think fast. "So I pretended 'my son' had to go to the bathroom. When we got there, I took off both of our equipment and stuffed them down my tube socks so he wouldn't catch us."

* In other movie news, don't miss Reelblack's presentation of "Things Never Said," starring Omari Hardwick and Shanola Hampton, about a poet (Hampton, "Shameless") who finds her voice after falling for a new man (Hardwick). Director Charles Murray, a co-executive producer on "Sons of Anarchy," will be in town this weekend for screenings of the film at AMC Cherry Hill and to give a workshop at the Scribe Video Center. OUT AND ABOUT
* Happy birthday to Chef Emeril Lagasse, who dined at Paramour Restaurant in the Wayne Hotel (139 E. Lancaster Ave., Wayne) to celebrate his 54th birthday. Lagasse was in town to shoot a new special for QVC. Looks as if he was celebrating with Paramour's double-chocolate brownie. Lagasse isn't the only famous face Paramour has seen recently: Rosie O'Donnell recently stayed in the hotel, as well.
* "Queen of Mean" Lisa Lampanelli stepped out with WMGK morning man John DeBella. The old friends dined at La Croix (210 W. Rittenhouse Square) last weekend, but I'm sure they'll be chilling again when Lampanelli comes to the Kimmel Center, Oct. 24-27, for "Skinny Bitch: NOT A Stand-Up Comedy Show."
