Howard Stern may not be Jay Leno's biggest fan. "He's not fit to scrub David Letterman's feet," the Sirius XM schlock jock says of Leno in an interview with Piers Morgan, set to air Tuesday night on CNN.
Howard Stern
may not be
Jay Leno
's biggest fan.
"He's not fit to scrub David Letterman's feet," the Sirius XM schlock jock says of Leno in an interview with Piers Morgan, set to air Tuesday night on CNN.
In an extraordinary attack that quickly deteriorates into a tirade, Stern echoes his previous claims that the Tonight Show host steals jokes. "Jay is insane. And Jay is a crook. And the world knows exactly what he's up to. He steals a tremendous amount of material," Stern says.
Stern then turns his ire on America: "I don't know how [Leno has] beaten David Letterman in the ratings. . . . America must be filled with morons who at night lay in bed - the ones who are watching him, they must be in a coma." In March, Stern told CBS' Early Show, "Just the mere mention of Jay Leno's name makes me want to vomit." Last year, Stern accused Leno of stealing one of his own sketches, featuring a chicken that predicts football wins. Leno has yet to comment.
Kidman, Urban give thanks. A lot
Fairy-tale Oz beauty
Nicole Kidman
, 43, who'd make alabaster blush with envy, continues her fecund post-
Tom Cruise
era with a new baby girl, her people announced Monday.
Faith Margaret Kidman Urban was made from biological materials supplied by Kidman and hub Keith Urban, 43, but she was born - all the way back on Dec. 28 in Nashville - through a gestational carrier.
Faith Margaret joins 2-year-old sis Sunday Rose. "Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful," the couple say in a statement.
"No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel."
The RoPat-KStew report
Entertainment Weekly has! published! the! first! official! photo! from!
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1
! And it's racy: It shows "Bella (
Kristen Stewart
) and Edward (
Robert Pattinson
) sharing a bed as man and wife on their wedding night."
Gawker, which refers to RoPat variously as Sparkles McFangtooth Pattinson, Heartthrob McBloodbreath, and Wildmane McSexington, says the Brit was pleased (with himself) when he saw the pic. "Very pretty," he said.
She'd have him back!? Sheen report
Charlie Sheen
's soon-to-be ex-wife
Brooke Mueller
may not be. An ex-, that is.
So claims Brooke's mom, Moira Fiore, who tells the Palm Beach Post the couple may reconcile.
"They're talking about it constantly, and Brooke has been saying she and Charlie are trying to get back together," Fiore says.
"Charlie's been telling her that things have not gone well for him because they broke up."
Not gone well? Let's see: First, there was Sheen's conviction for assaulting Mueller, then the New York hotel rampage. Oh, let's not forget his reported sex party at the adult-film awards in Vegas. Not well?
Her two loves: The Bullock report
Sandra Bullock
, 46, may have washed that
Jesse James
sleaze out of her hair, but it seems she's still alone. The Oscar-winner tells
Today
's
Al Roker
that recent reports she's stepping out with
Ryan Reynolds
are false.
"There will be a collective sigh amongst women across the United States when I say he's not my lovah," Bullock says.
The actress was effusive about that other boy in her life, son Louis. The kid isn't even a year old, but according to Bullock, he's a techno wiz.
"He's got the iPad and the iPhone and the computer with iChat," Bullock tells Roker. "Every five minutes, my phone goes off with pictures, documentation."
From the 'Zoo' to the 'Two'
Western civ's most longed-for cultural artifact, a sequel to that erotic celebration of male modelania,
Zoolander
, is ready to be made, 10 years after the original's release.
Director, writer, and star Ben Stiller tells Empire mag he's turned in the script. The story is mind-blowing: "it's basically Derek and [Owen Wilson's character] Hansel ten years later." Will Ferrell will costar as the villainous Mugatu.
Ricky unrepentant
Apparently, British comic
Ricky Gervais
may have used too much snark (but just the right amount of starch) at the Golden Globes on Sunday. Gervais, 49, skewered
Johnny Depp
's
The Tourist
,
Hugh Hefner
, Scientologists, and
Charlie Sheen
's sex antics.
"It's been hugely mean-spirited with mildly sinister undertones," Robert Downey Jr. said Sunday. Hollywood Foreign Press Association prez Philip Berk said Monday that Gervais "crossed the line," telling the Hollywood Reporter that "some of the things he said were totally unacceptable." Ricky the Rogue is unrepentant: "I think last year I didn't go far enough," he said after the do. "This year, I went about right. If anyone was offended, then I don't care."
The heartbreak report . . .
That Spidey cad,
Jake Gyllenhaal
, who last week dumped America's sweetie,
Taylor Swift
, by phone, was accompanied to the Golden Globes by an ex-girlfriend,
Rilo Kiley
front woman
Jenny Lewis
, says People. The pair dated in '01. Jenny's with
Johnathan Rice
now. Or is she?
No heartbreak for Leighton Meester and Garrett Hedlund. Yet. Us Weekly says the Country Strong couple were inseparable Sunday.
January Jones, who wowed the Golden Globes crowd Sunday with a slinky, revealing red Versace number, is available. People reports that the Mad Men star and beau Jason Sudeikis have broken up after six months.
We've all read Kelly Osbourne's enraged tweets over claims her ex-fiance Luke Worrall cheated on her with multiple partners. Now come some gnarly details: One of Luke's lovers was a male-to-female transsexual. So claims Elle Schneider (formerly Reynaldo Gonzalez), 21, who tells Brit tabloid the Mirror that she had an affair with Luke. Elle, who has yet to have gender reassignment surgery, says Luke was pleased with her physique. Has anyone verified the report? Heck, no!
