Strahan, who is leaving for Good Morning America, said, "I didn't anticipate being here at this moment, but it's here and we're going to enjoy it. I'm not dying."
Ripa, who went AWOL for a week when she heard Strahan was ditching her, gave him nice parting gifts.
"I just want say, on behalf of all of us, we couldn't be prouder of you," she said, offering a champagne toast.
Settlement in Joan Rivers suit
Melissa Rivers has accepted an undisclosed settlement in her wrongful-death suit involving her mother, Joan, who died in September 2014.
"In accepting this settlement, I am able to put the legal aspects of my mother's death behind me and ensure that those culpable for her death have accepted responsibility for their actions," Rivers said in a statement Thursday. Earlier in the week, she told People mag, "I'm not quite in the healing phase."

Kylie has since been seen partying with her sis Kourtney Kardashian's castoff, Scott Disick.
