Brian Blair will become president of Bryn Athyn College beginning July 1, the school announced Friday.

He will replace Kristin King, who will aid in the transition.

A native of Pittsburgh, Blair earned his bachelor of science in Business Administration from Duquesne University and performed his graduate studies at the University of Southern California. He and his wife have two children and live in Malvern.

Blair has served as a board member with various non-profit organizations for which he managed budget oversight, fund raising, and other management activities.

He has also worked in the finance and banking industries for more than three decades.

"We want our students to obtain an excellent education that leverages the critical thinking skills that come from a liberal arts foundation," Blair said.
