The school district's calendar has this for Sept. 25: "Citywide Papal Visit - Administrative Offices and Schools Closed."

That date, by the way, is a Friday. Schools will also be closed two days earlier, on Wednesday, Sept. 23, for Yom Kippur.

A lot of street closures are expected on Sept. 25 as the city hosts the World Meeting of Families on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway starting Sept. 22. Francis will be in Philadelphia on Sept. 26-27. - Inquirer staff
