Six students at Martin Luther King High School in East Germantown were taken into police custody after a fight broke out there Thursday morning.
Six students at Martin Luther King High School in East Germantown were taken into police custody after a fight broke out there Thursday morning.
Philadelphia School District spokeswoman Raven Hill said the fight began at 11:50 a.m. in a third-floor hallway of the school. She said she did not know how many students were involved, but said no one was seriously injured.
Philadelphia police also responded to the school after a call for backup from school police. No charges have been filed against the students taken into custody, Hill said. She said she did not know the names or ages of those students.
