Takeru Kobayashi to compete at Wing Bowl 20

The world's greatest champion eater will compete at this year's Philadelphia Wing Bowl.

The annual Philadelphia Wing Bowl, which brings some of the world's greatest champion gurgitators to Philly has added an extraordinary competitor to this year's lineup:  Takeru Kobayashi!

Dubbed "the greatest competitive eater of all time" (well, according to a Wing Bowl press release), Kobayashi won the famous Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest for an unprecedented six years in a row from 2001-2006.

He'll stuff his face and take all other face-stuffing champs in Wing Bowl 20 at the Wells Fargo Center on Feb. 3. The winner will take home $20,000 in cash.

The city's greatest athletic event, Wing Bowl will air live on CBS SportsRadio 94WIP (94.1-FM) and will be streamed live over the Internet at cbsphilly.com with commentary by Angelo Cataldi and Wing Bowl co-founder Al Morganti.
