"SHAME OF A CITY" filmmaker

Tigre Hill

has been sued for fraud by actor

Greg Horos

, who starred in Hill's never-released feature, "Casanova's Demise."

Horos' claim, filed in Municipal Court, says he gave Hill permission to use his credit card for expenses related to "Casanova's Demise," which wrapped nearly five years ago but has not yet screened or appeared on video.

In the film, Horos portrays a man convicted of rape who is to be castrated under a recently passed Pennsylvania law.

According to his court filing, Horos, who says that, with interest, he's out about $25,000, was to be repaid, but despite two signed agreements by the parties, he has not recouped the money.

Hill is working on a DVD release of "Shame of a City," his documentary about the 2003 mayoral race, and is shooting a documentary on Mumia Abu-Jamal and Daniel Faulkner.

When reached yesterday, Horos said he was offered a producer credit for what he calls "a loan, not an investment."

"I deny the charges," Hill says. "He's trying to turn an investment into a loan. I have not been served papers on this," he says, and calls it unfortunate that he's "hearing about it from the press."

The matter is listed for hearing Feb. 16 in small-claims court, 34. S. 11th St.

Cataldis host holiday bash

610 WIP morning man Angelo Cataldi, who's normally asleep by 7:30 p.m., made it a late night Friday as he and wife Gail hosted a holiday party at their South Jersey home. Gov. Rendell and Eagles Jon Runyan and David Akers were among the 125 guests, as were most of the WIP on-air talent pool. A 10-piece band Deja Groove performed on the Cataldis' patio, and former Eagle Hugh Douglas, now part of the WIP morning team, performed the Commodores hit "Brickhouse" with the band and danced a tribute to the late James Brown.

Joe Volpe, of the Cescaphe Ballroom (923 N. 2nd), catered the affair, at which guests were well-fed, well-liquored and quite merry.

Pressly, fiance hang at Borgata

Jaime Pressly, of NBC's "My Name is Earl," celebrated New Year's weekend with her fiancé, DJ Eric Cubiche, at Atlantic City's Borgata. Mom-to-be Pressly enjoyed a pregnancy massage at Spa Toccare, and along with Cubiche enjoyed a New Year's Eve dinner at Bobby Flay Steak. After that they picked up a 3-foot-tall blue teddy bear from the hotel's new luxe boutique, WHIM, for the boy they're expecting. Later Pressly grooved to Cubiche's tunes as he DJ'd club mur.mur.

* A crew of Eagles took to the

Borgata to celebrate their NFC East victory, gambling and hanging at MIXX and mur.mur. They included Hank Baskett, Reggie Brown, Trent Cole, Todd Herremans, Donte Stallworth, Darwin Walker, Brian Westbrook and Darren Howard. New York Midgets defensive end Osi Umenyiora also happened to be in the hotel and was seen at mur.mur chatting with Westbrook.

Papale promotes Philly

Vince Papale, the former Eagles wide receiver who inspired the hit film "Invincible," taped a promo for the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corp. on Sunday afternoon at the Linc before the Eagles defeated the Atlanta Falcons. "He's one of those great Philly boosters," says Jeff Guaracino, VP of communications for GPTMC. "We are looking at developing a promotion around Vince." Sunday night Papale and wife Janet took in the Penn's Landing fireworks from a GPTMC VIP-seating area. *
