In shocking news,

Marie Osmond

, 47, who was raised in a strict Mormon family and thus shocked the world in '87 by divorcing

Steven Craig

, is sending shock waves again - again with a divorce. Osmond yesterday told syndicated Ent & Celeb show

The Insider

, which broke the story, that she and her estranged second hub,

Brian Blosil

, "continue to have a very amicable relationship."

She said the couple, who have nine children (five adopted), have always had a "faithful [marriage] and neither of us is assigning fault for the divorce." The versatile entertainer and author said she would not discuss reasons for the divorce. Osmond is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which discourages divorce.

Michael's OK, OK?

Oh ye, the one surviving fan of

Michael Jackson

: It's OK, he'll be fine.

"A little bit under the weather," Michael's rep says of that once-supple, thrilling "Thriller" moondancer. It's a cold, he said, and not pneumonia as rumored! The Prince of Neverland is convalescing in Las Vegas, where he is busy working - just like Dr. Evil! - on a dastardly plan for a comeback. (Is Michael's adviser an MJ-shaped Mini-Me who loves to nap on his lap?)

Halle Berry's heartbreaks, again

Halle Berry

's tales of romance woe never fail to rend my heart open.

Halle tells Parade (out tomorrow), that her breakup with her first hubby, baseball narcissist David Justice, lead Halle to a blessedly failed suicide attempt. "I was sitting in my car," Halle says, "and I knew the gas was coming when I had an image of my mother [Judith] finding me."

No way was she going to be that selfish, Halle said. "I promised myself I would never be a coward again." Um - she later shared a "really horrific" marriage with Eric Benet.

Rending the sacred bond

Britney Spears

went clubbing Thursday night, the first time since leaving rehab, sporting "a sparkling red cap, a blue dress and a big grin" (USA Today). Earlier, Brit and her deeply misunderstood artist of a husband,

Kevin Federline

, peacefully settled their divorce. No info on the $ K-Fed gets, but his reps deny rumors he's getting $1 mil (

kiddie money

!). The couple will likely have 50-50 joint custody of their sons

Jayden James

and

Sean Preston

.

Al's documentary

TV's smilingest morning smile-pusher,

Al Roker

, says the docu he produced for the Food Network,

Childhood Obesity: Danger Zone

, premiering tonight, was inspired by his real life.

Al said the childhood obesity epidemic grips 12 mil kids and that obesity in young'uns has quadrupled in 40 years.

"This would be the first generation that has a shorter lifespan than their parents," said Al, who had gastric bypass surgery in '02, when he was 330 pounds. He's now at 230 pounds.
