Tattle | Paris will still be 'special'

THERE'S A celebrity cell at the Los Angeles county jail? Of course there is, and it probably has concierge service and a waiting list - with Paris Hilton's name right on top.

Of course there is, and it probably has concierge service and a waiting list - with Paris Hilton's name right on top.

She was ordered yesterday to report to L.A.'s Century Regional Detention Facility by June 5, having declined to appeal her 45-day sentence after all, her attorney informed L.A. County Superior Court.

Paris, 26, could be out in as few as 23 days if she behaves herself.

Let's see, she has to do the time because she was caught driving with a suspended license while on probation for DUI-related reckless driving. Twice.

A quick check through the Daily News archives finds mentions too numerous and tawdry to recount of Paris' increasing inability to behave herself.

We aren't betting on an early release.

Then again, even though she'll be in a "special-needs housing unit" for errant cops and high-profile crooks that's segregated from the general population, she may have to share her cell, according to sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore.

That's so not hot.

Abuzz about Jerry

It's the 60th Cannes Film Festival, and Jerry Seinfeld marked the occasion by donning a bee suit yesterday and flying over the crowd tethered to a wire.

Now that's something Elaine might have done. Kramer definitely. George is probably afraid of heights. But Jerry?

He must be really bored.

But no, he was just shamelessly plugging the DreamWorks Animation fall release, "Bee Movie," which he wrote and produced. He voices the lead character, too.

Chris Rock, also in the movie, emceed the event - billed as "a stunt unparalleled in the history" of Cannes. Which is saying something.

Clips from the film were shown at the festival earlier in the day.

Paris and . . . O.J.?

First there was the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon game. Now comes Six Degrees of Juice.

First there was the Six Degrees of game. Now comes Six Degrees of Juice.

Remember Faye Resnick, the former friend of the late Nicole Brown Simpson who testified against O.J. Simpson at his murder trial, then posed for Playboy?

She apparently knows Paris Hilton and was at her house during a meeting yesterday with Paris' attorney. No, not as a member of Paris' defense team. Faye's an interior decorator now, and Paris is a client.

De Niro and Pacino star

Robert De Niro and Al Pacino are making another movie together, and they promise more shared screen time than in their previous pairing, Variety reports.

Shooting on the $60 million indie flick "Righteous Kill" begins Aug. 6 in Connecticut. Scenes will also be shot in New York City.

The two play cops chasing a serial killer.

Who doesn't have a chance.

You may recall the pair made 1995's "Heat" but appeared together in only two scenes.

Tina Turner's ex was arrested on Interstate 405 in the San Fernando Valley Tuesday night after police saw his 2002 silver Mercedes-Benz S-50 doing more than 80 mph and straddling lanes.

Turner was freed from jail about 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Gen'l Lee back on eBay

If only the winning bidder had had the dough.

Now the 1969 Dodge Charger from "The Dukes of Hazzard" will be back in play starting tomorrow. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Pepperdine University's Boone Center for the Family.

This time, all bidders will be pre-approved.

_ Danny DeVito's gonna be busy when he's here next month.

Besides throwing out the first pitch June 3 at the Phillies-Giants game and shooting scenes for his FX comedy, "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" (as reported yesterday by Dan Gross), DeVito also will stop at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute June 10. A one-day salute to the actor/producer/director's work is planned, with a lecture and Q&A moderated by Columbia University's Annette Insdorf, plus a screening of his "Hoffa" and "The War of the Roses." *
