In an extraordinary testament to fecundity both celluloid

and

fleshly,

Julia Roberts

, 39, gave birth yesterday to her third child with

Danny Moder

, whom the

Lyle Lovett

divorcee wed in July 2002.

The baby boy, who weighed in at 8½ pounds, was born in a shamefully prosaic locale: Lalaland. Guess Julia couldn't bother booking a fortified villa in sub-Saharan Africa, much less explore new vistas. (You can't go wrong with Ur of the Chaldees, birthplace of the patriarch Abraham. Well, as long as you don't mind a bloody civil war around you.)

Sadly, Mrs. Normal, whose gorgeous twins Hazel and Phinnaeus turned 2 in November, gave the newborn the hideously average, nonmockable name Henry Daniel.

A gentle, cuddly man, that Clooney

So says Brit-born Las Vegas transplant

Sarah Talley

, 33, a former model who says she had a four-month

affaire de coeur

with star

George Clooney

that began in December.

"I'm a busy single mum," Sarah says in an absurdly detailed report in the Brit tab the Daily Mirror. "I try to fit in work with housework." A redheaded Yorkshire native who moved to Vegas when she was 10, Sarah describes in excruciatingly chaste, supremely un-lascivious, non-scurrilous and non-wanton detail every little peck on the cheek, every hand-holding, every flirty look the couple allegedly shared.

George, 46, an old-fashioned gentleman, didn't even - you know (you can hear the giggles) - until the third date, even though they shared a bed on the second. ("We kissed and cuddled into the early hours.")

Ooh-la-la, was it hot when he finally turned on the kettle! (And not to make tea, mind you!)

"He made me feel like a woman. He told me I was beautiful, kissed all down my neck, and made me tingle," said Sarah, sounding just a bit like the author of a PG-rated bodice ripper. "It was all I hoped it would be and better." (Swoon . . . )

Is Sarah a fake? I believe she's real. I simply must. (How I've dreamt of one like her.)

George's rep told the Mail his client's personal life is off-limits.

Those Ontario nights . . .

The lovely and talented vampire slayer

Kristy Swanson

spent her Friday night in Kingston, Ontario, getting into what sounds like a knock-down-drag-out fight with one

Marcia O'Brien

over -

what else?

- a man. (That'd be former world champion pairs skater

Lloyd Eisler

, 44, who divorced O'Brien after meeting Kristy on

Skating With Celebrities

.)

The fracas resulted in dueling accusations: Kristy, 37, who played a high-kicking, undead-assassinating cheerleader in the original '92 minor masterpiece Buffy the Vampire Slayer, told People that she was arrested late Saturday when her sparring partner pressed assault charges.

On Sunday, Kristy, who had the cops take photos of bruises she said she suffered during the ordeal, filed the same charges against O'Brien.

Pacino dancing - in public?

Talk about shock and awe. In response to a fan question in Time mag's 10 Questions feature, the intensely private

Al Pacino

shook the firmament by saying he might, perhaps, some day - maybe - go on

Dancing With the Stars

and strut in front of America herself.

"Actually, I would consider it," Pacino said. "All due respect and trying to be as modest as I can be, I am a dancer. But I don't think I would be on Dancing With the Stars mainly because I would be too shy."

So was that a yes or a no?

An American family's Faith

In an interview with Redbook, musical and love partners

Faith Hill

and

Tim McGraw,

who are currently on tour, come off as a normal, loving American family. In the scandalous piece, the couple, who just played a nicely reviewed two-night gig in Vancouver this weekend, discuss how hard it is to be on tour with all three kids - and one of their dogs.

"The kids will love that, but we'll just have to see how it goes," Tim said. But did Tim love it, too? "Let's just say the movement from city to city takes a little extra effort, extra muscle, and extra minds. At the end of the tour, I'm exhausted," he said.

But there's respite from all that toil in Faith's cooking: "I do all Southern foods, so you name it and I can cook it," she says.

"I don't know if that's good or bad; Southern food is so yummy, but it's not exactly good for the figure," she quips.

"Woof-woof," Faith-McGraw Dog probably said. (The Redbook reporter ignored the poor thing.)

The Hiltons display love

Paris Hilton

's father,

Rick Hilton

, was probably a proud, proud man on Father's Day Sunday when he visited his lovely daughter at Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, Calif.: Paris gave him a Father's Day card that she actually

made

with her own hands.

"She made him a beautiful Father's Day card with his picture" on it, said Ma Kathy Hilton, sounding not a bit surprised and proud herself.

"She's doing well, she's doing very well. She's doing much better," Kathy said about how Paris is dealing with jail. But she dashed my hopes at least, when she was asked what Paris did with all her time: "She looks at the four walls, and reads some nice fan mail." Guess when Paris walks out on June 25, she won't have the manuscript of the next great prison memoir tucked under her arm.

Fathers and daughters 2

Beloved actress

Angelina Jolie

says she will not rule out the possibility of holding bilateral negotiations with her father

Jon Voight

about the state of their fractured relationship, which Angie suspended in '02 after Voight told the press that the

Girl, Interrupted

star was unstable.

"I am hoping my relationship with my father will be more private in the future," Jolie told Brit paper the Evening Standard. (See, their only communication has been through comments each has publicly made to the media.)

"At the end of the day we both wish the best for each other and we'll try to start communicating in some way."

It's like I've always said: Love will always, eventually triumph. (Or not.)

Kudos to 3

CBS3 (KYW-TV) yesterday announced it had received an

Edward R. Murrow

Award for excellence in electronic journalism.

"To say that our staff has made us inordinately proud is an understatement," said CBS3 president and general manager Michael Colleran in a statement accompanying the announcement.

The station, which won the overall excellence award for large-market television stations, was cited for its coverage of the Amish school shootings, its investigative report about a polygamist compound in Utah, and the safety concerns surrounding teen use of MySpace.com.
