Paul Simon: The Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song (9-11 p.m., WHYY TV-12) - He scored one of the iconic coming-of-age films of the 1960s. He re-created the folk standard Scarborough Fair as a quiet plea for peace. He brought South African musical stylings to the West. And that's just a sampling of Paul Simon's contributions to popular music. That's why he's a fitting recipient of the first Gershwin Prize honoring such contributions. Art Garfunkel, Marc Anthony, Ladysmith Black Mambazo and other artists join him to celebrate.

Hidden Palms (9-10 p.m., CW57) - The plot thickens! Johnny, Greta and Liza (Taylor Handley, Amber Heard, Ellary Porterfield) suspect Cliff's (Michael Cassidy) affair with Maria (Valerie Cruz) gave him a motive to kill Eddie. But Johnny rethinks that after finding a video of Eddie kissing Liza. Maria, incidentally, still wants Cliff, but he's trying to get Nikki (Tessa Thompson) back. Skip (Kyle Secor) continues wooing Tess (Sharon Lawrence).
