Britney Spears
Wears Blonde Wig for New Video." The singer isn't really a natural blond! What's more, Brit's dancers also wore identical wigs for the music-video shoot for Brit's second single, "Piece of Me."
Oh, almost forgot: Numerous newspapers report Brit, who has been granted custody of her two sons for Christmas Day, is pregnant, and Star mag claims Brit's house contains a secret XXX-rated "fantasy room" outfitted with the latest in sex toys and implements.
"Britney is sexually obsessed," Star's anon source says. (It gives the tune "Gimme More" a whole new meaning.)
Kevin Federline
may use these reports to try to gain permanent custody of the kids,
Sean Preston
, 2, and
Jayden James
, 14 months.
It gets worse: Star and In Touch mag also say Brit is not only a pervo sex addict, she's a
pregnant
pervo sex addict. Brits' bud
Sam Lufti
yesterday told
Ryan Seacrest
that Brit is not pregnant.Been there, seen that
Creative powerhouse
Christina Aguilera
has revolutionized magazine publishing by appearing nude on the cover of Marie Claire, baring her gloriously pregnant belly for all the world to see.
Sound familiar? C.A.'s stunt is merely a copy of
Britney Spears
' trailblazing - pregnant
and
fully nude - appearance on the cover of Harper's Bazaar for its August 2006 issue.
But C.A.'s cover is actually a copy of a copy. Brit's no mastermind either. Her cover was a sad reiteration of the August 1991 cover of Vanity Fair, which featured a nude, pregnant
Demi Moore
.
TV's merry prankster
Kelly Ripa
, who went home sick - reportedly with a stomach flu - in the middle of Tuesday's
Live With Regis & Kelly
, was back in the saddle yesterday. But poor Kelly was immediately singled out by prankster Regis Philbin, who told the audience Kelly got ill from morning sickness.
"I've got my own theories, and let me tell you, she's pregnant again!" Philbin quipped. "I've been through it twice now!"
Kelly immediately denied it, then said, "that would be nice, though. Wouldn't that be nice?"
Kelly won't be on today's show because of prior scheduling. Rege's wife, Joy, will cohost.
Nothing comes easy for Paris
Boys, now's your chance to date America's dream girl,
Paris Hilton
, who says she's single and "dating around" and "looking."
Paris, who yesterday appeared on
Ellen DeGeneres
' gabfest, said dating is hard. (Maybe it's even harder if you're beautiful, rich and famous.)
When Ellen pointed out how hard it is to trust new guys, Paris was, like, yeah, "it's really hard, but I'm a really good judge of character really fast."
Paris, who may become the next star of ABC's
Bachelorette
, said the show won't be a good dating resource: "I don't usually like the guys that would want to be on that kind of show."
The senator didn't do it
Massachusetts resident
Caroline Bilodeau-Allen
filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Boston on Tuesday against the National Enquirer for saying that her now 22-year-old son,
Christopher
, is Sen.
Edward Kennedy
's "love child." The Smoking Gun Web site reports that the suit also contends that the onetime lovers covered up the truth for 22 years, and that Kennedy paid Bilodeau-Allen hush money. Bilodeau-Allen says every allegation in two stories the Enquirer ran last year is "false and defamatory." She denies the senator is her son's father.
The suit, which asks for unspecified damages, says the two stories "have destroyed Mrs. Bilodeau-Allen's reputation and left her emotionally devastated."
Lessing must travel less
The Nobel Foundation yesterday announced
Doris Lessing
will not be able to travel to Stockholm to receive the $1.5 mil Nobel Prize in literature on Dec. 10 due to back problems. "Unfortunately her medical advisers have said she must not travel," the foundation said.
Lessing, who won the prize for the "skepticism, fire and visionary power" in her work, was less than enthusiastic when told last month she had won the prize: "Oh, [bleep]! . . . I couldn't care less."
Heath in heat?
The New York Post says
Heath Ledger
has gone "girl crazy" and has hooked up with, like, 103,208 women this month alone.
Reportedly, Heath, who's recovering from his recent breakup with
Michelle Williams
, took his woes to various and sundry women, including
Helena Christensen
,
Kate Hudson
,
Heather Graham
and
Gemma Ward
. (Reportedly he acquired the last two over Thanksgiving.)
Heath's rep did not reply to the Post's request for comment.
Rock anomaly of the ages
Jersey boy turned rock star
Jon Bon Jovi
trekked into North Philly on Monday with Fox News reporter
Alisyn Camerota
to visit the family of
Marian Rogers
, one of those granted a new apartment through the Project Home dot.org, which provides housing for families in need.
Rogers' daughter, 10-year-old
Ahleeyah Mills
, was shocked to learn that Jon was a rock star, saying, "He acts just like a human being, a regular human being."
Breaking up with the stars
Fresh from his glorious win on
Dancing With the Stars
,
Helio Castroneves
tells People mag he has nixed his engagement to
Aliette Vazquez
.
"At this time, I would prefer to keep my private life private," the dancer said in a statement confirming the breakup.
What 'separate' really means
Angel
star
Charisma Carpenter
and
Damian Hardy
have separated after four years of marriage, People reports.
"They are separated and now living separately," Carpenter's rep,
Jeff Raymond
, said.
The couple have a son,
Donavan Charles
, who was born in March 2003.
