Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (8-9 p.m., CBS3) - "I'm cuuute! She said I'm cuuute!" "Bumbles bounce!" "I wanna be a dentist." And of course, "Rudolph, with your nose so bright, won't you guide my sleigh tonight?" Ol' Rudy is 43 this year and as cute as ever, ready to delight the children and grandbabies of the viewers who met him back in '64. If you haven't seen this Christmas chestnut in a few years, it's worth another look.

(8-10 p.m., HBO) - Emile Hirsch and Justin Timberlake star in this tale of a group of Southern California youths whose life of drugs and partying lands them in hot water. Based on a true story.

College Basketball

(9:30-11:30 p.m., ESPN) - Top 5-ranked Memphis tops the marquee of the annual Jimmy V Classic, which benefits the V Foundation for Cancer Research in honor of the late North Carolina State coach Jim Valvano. Memphis coach John Calipari, a disciple of Valvano's, brings his Tigers into New York with a plethora of talent, including guards Antonio Anderson and newcomer Derrick Rose. They'll take on USC after Kansas State and Notre Dame begin the festivities.

Boston Legal

(10-11 p.m., 6ABC) - Denny's in trouble! No, this isn't a repeat; it's yet another case of the loose-cannon lawyer (William Shatner) landing on the wrong side of the law and requiring the services of his pal and colleague Alan (James Spader). Shirley (Candice Bergen) defends a shock jock fired for an inappropriate comment. Katie (Tara Summers) suspects Lorraine (Saffron Burrows) of having a secret in the new episode "Oral Contracts."
