So nice, they'll air twice

Along with stretching out its reality shows, NBC is coping with the writers strike by "opening a second window" on the upcoming season of USA Network's "Monk" and "Psych."

What that means in English is that the back-to-back Friday night shows on USA (returning Jan. 11) will be rebroadcast in a Sunday night block on NBC's Channel 10 starting March 2.

Get thee to a gala

The Screen Actors Guild Awards annual eBay auction, starting at 10 a.m. today, will offer two tickets to the award ceremonies and gala, along with red carpet bleacher seats, TV and movie memorabilia and more.

The 14th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will air live on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. Jan. 27.

McGruder goes live

Aaron McGruder is venturing outside his Adult Swim cartoon "The Boondocks" to create a live-action series for online comedy hub Super Deluxe, the Hollywood Reporter said.

Beginning next month, "The Super Rumble Mixshow" will offer 20 mini-episodes mixing sketch comedy and other formats showcasing McGruder's brand of racially charged humor.
