took fourth position, with receipts of $7.8 million, while
Drillbit Taylor
did the fifth-best business of the weekend, collecting $5.8 million from moviegoers.
The weekend continued a downward box-office trend for the year. The top 12 movies took in $90 million, down 23 percent from the same weekend last year.
