Harlem gangster's widow to be guest of honor at book party
Mayme Hatcher Johnson, the 93-year-old widow of legendary gangster Bumpy Johnson, will be the guest of honor at a book party for "Harlem Godfather: The Rap on My Husband, Ellsworth 'Bumpy' Johnson" from 1 to 3 p.m. tomorrow at Warmdaddy's, Columbus Boulevard and Reed Street.

Come dressed as a gangster or gangster moll from the '30s or '40s and you might win the best-dressed gangster contest. There will be a swing dance exhibition, too.
Admission is $20 but includes an autographed copy of the book, which was co-written by Philadelphia-based writer Karen E. Quinones Miller.
