Obscenely wealthy Western star
Madonna
, 50, is poised to pillage the impoverished African country of Malawi of its precious resources for a second time. Yep, Madge wants to adopt another African baby.
An unidentified Malawian welfare department worker yesterday confirmed that the Material Girl has filed adoption papers and that she plans to spend this weekend in-country, ostensibly to inspect a selection of available product (orphans).
The twice-divorced faux Brit inspired much controversy in '06 when she and her then-hubby, Guy Ritchie, adopted Malawian baby David Banda. Madge was accused of using her celeb power to circumvent adoption laws. The accusations are bound to be repeated, since Malawi does not approve adoptions for single or divorced parents.
Earlier this month, Madge fanned speculation that she was shopping for a sibling for David in a chat with Nation, a Malawi newspaper.
"Many people . . . say that David should have a Malawian brother or sister," she said. "It's something I have been considering."
No comment from Madge rep Liz Rosenberg.

Kim: I'm only human
Kim Kardashian
never struck me as the heroic sort. But I guess it takes all types: The reality TV chatterbox is standing up for the right of women to be corporeal, rather than ethereal (and anorexic). Kim made headlines this week when the online edition of Complex Magazine posted an unretouched photo that displayed her cellulite for all the world to see before replacing it with a clean copy. But Kim says she wants the mag to publish the real image.
"So what: I have a little cellulite. What curvy girl doesn't!? How many people do you think are Photoshopped? It happens all the time!" Kim says. "I'm proud of my body and my curves, and this picture coming out is probably helpful for everyone to see."
