It's Diamond on Fourth

Singer Neil Diamond will perform on CBS' "Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular" on July 4, live from the Charles River Esplanade in Boston.

Craig Ferguson, host of CBS' "The Late Late Show," will host the special for the third year.

The actors who played its Philadelphia yuppies are fiftysomethings now, but "thirtysomething: The Complete First Season" comes out on DVD Aug. 25.

Also in the pipeline:

* "Shark Week: Great Bites Collection," aimed at fans of the Discovery Channel's "Shark Week," July 14.

* "Agatha Christie's Poirot: The Movie Collection Set 4," July 7.

* "Life on Mars: Season 1," from the British time-travel drama (which progressed differently from its American cousin), July 28.

* "The Mentalist: The Complete First Season," Sept. 22.

Comedian Reno Collier will host NBC's "Great American Road Trip."

The summer series, which launches July 7, will follow seven families on a cross-country journey on historic Route 66.

Sadly, this being a "reality" show, there will be challenges - beyond the price of food and gas - and one family will be eliminated each week. *
