* Bring your appetite (and $3) as Sylvia's Soul Tour sets up shop from 3 to 7 p.m. tomorrow at Pathmark (3021 Grays Ferry Ave.). The first 300 people will enjoy a bargain meal of the soul food purveyor's chicken dishes, vegetable stir-fry, cornbread, collard greens and more. There will be raffles, too. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

* Franklin Square, the his-

toric park near Old City that's become a family-friendly oasis with a fountain, carousel and lots of kids' activities, stands to get more popular with today's opening of SquareBurger, the latest from the Starr organization. On the menu? Hot dogs, french fries, salads, frozen treats and, of course, burgers, including the veggie kind. The food stand, with outdoor seating around the square, will be open from April through October. About 732,000 people visited Franklin Square in 2008.

* Vive la cuisine

française! The table is set for a five-course Bastille Day Wine Dinner, 7 p.m. tomorrow, at georges' (503 W. Lancaster Ave., Wayne, 610-964-2588). Executive chef Jeremy Duclut designed the menu. The $85 per person cost includes tax and gratuity.

sity City's most popular dining destinations - including newcomers Desi Village, Distrito, Gold Standard Cafe and Mary Oaks - will participate in the annual summer edition of University City Dining Days, July 23-30.
