Moon Sam Rockwell has a bigger movie in theaters this weekend (he's the voice of the head guinea pig in Disney's 3-D G-Force), but the actor quite literally owns this eerie sci-fi tale about a guy stranded on the moon and aching to come back to Earth. A beautiful, disturbing study of alienation, from Duncan (son of David Bowie) Jones. R
Séraphine A transcendently beautiful portrait of a little-known real-life French artist - a washerwoman who painted with a Van Gogh-like intensity and briefly flirted with art-world fame between the wars. Yolande Moreau won the French Oscar for her performance, and the film won best picture. (No MPAA rating)
