The Oscar-winning writer-director has been accused by an unnamed photog of assault. The paparazzo, who filed a police report for battery yesterday, says Mad Max attacked him Wednesday night at an L.A. nightclub and ripped his shirt. He claims Mel became irate when he tried to shoot the star and his pregnant fiancee, Oksana Grigorieva. TMZ.com says that according to the police, the photog dude suffered nary an injury, just a ripped T-shirt.
