First lady on Leno

First lady Michelle Obama is going to be serving up answers on "The Jay Leno Show" on Friday.

She is set to respond to 10 "rapid-fire questions" in a comedy bit with Leno, participating via satellite from Washington.

Hugh Laurie fans might want to see what he was doing before going to med school. Arriving in stories this week is the BBC's "Black Adder Remastered: Ultimate Edition," in which Laurie plays various historical weaklings vs. Rowan Atkinson's cross-millennial court schemer, with new extras: stand-alone specials, 25th anniversary retrospective hour, commentaries, interviews.

Grammy winner Monica was just 12 when she cut her first record. Now she's trying her first reality show beginning next week on BET.

The show, called "Monica: Still Standing," is a docudrama that takes a look at her daily life in Atlanta as a singer putting the finishing touches on her fifth album, actress, and mother of two. It airs at 10 p.m. on Tuesdays.

Starting Friday, to promote the launch of its alien-invasion drama "V," ABC will create giant V's across the sky at 26 U.S. landmarks. The network is mum on exactly where they'll be, but the skywriting will take place multiple times a day until the series launches at 8 p.m. Nov. 3.
