Mathematician and cleric Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832-1898) published children's books under the pen name Lewis Carroll. The tour will explore both the man and the author, drawing on his letters to his publishers, original drawings by John Tenniel (illustrator of the Alice books), photographs of children taken by Carroll and copies of his books.

A "Hands-On Tour Lewis Carroll/Charles Dodgson" will be offered at 3 p.m. Dec. 2, with additional tours coming in 2010. The one-hour tour is free with museum admission; groups limited to six guests, ages 8 and up. No RSVP required.
