Sideshow: Finally, Jon & Kate, unhitched

As a big early Christmas present to us all, Kate and Jon Gosselin, once the stars of Jon & Kate Plus 8, a reality show based on their surreal lives, finalized their divorce yesterday in Norristown. The Hon. Arthur R. Tilson of Montgomery County Court handed down the mutually agreed no-faulter, based on "irretrievable breakdown." Y'think?

of Montgomery County Court handed down the mutually agreed no-faulter, based on "irretrievable breakdown."

After 10 years of marital whatever, they blew up over the summer, and bam!, done. We couldn't agree more with Kate's sentiments: "I am very relieved that our divorce has been finalized." Where's the bubbly?

Hammered

LOL means

laughing out loud

. The comparative is ROFLOL,

rolling on the floor, laughing out loud

. The superlative is ROTFLMSO,

rolling on the floor, laughing my socks off

. All apply to the news that former Phillie Flyers hockey stick

Dave "The Hammer" Schultz

will be conducting a wine tasting.

The beloved tough-guy enforcer will meet fans and sign bottles of his NHL Alumni Signature Series wines - we couldn't make this up if we tried - from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the state liquor store at 1940 S. Columbus Blvd.

The Hammer, who played for the Flyers from 1971 to 1976, including the 1974 and 1975 world champeens, will offer two fine wines Tuesday: a cabernet sauvignon, "a classic cabernet with deep red-purple [bruiselike?] hues and a black currant taste that reveals hints of cherry, blackberry, fresh mint and a touch of oak." Chardonnay fans will warm to "a delicious yet simple white wine for those who like unoaked Chardonnay packed with aromas and flavors of tropical fruit, lemon and green apple."
