Sideshow: Prince Harry's in William's corner

Here's one to warm the heart.

Britain's Prince William, 28, will not be alone when he succeeds the throne, vows his younger brother, Prince Harry.

"I will always give him as much support as I can," Harry, 25, says in a chat that was to air Thursday on British TV. "Sometimes it's probably not valued, which is understandable as the older brother always thinks they know best. But I always give him my opinion where it's needed."

Wonder if the princes are counting their eggs too soon: William is still only second in line to the throne, after his father, Prince Charles.

William says he appreciates his bro: "We get on very well. We have a lot of banter."

The TV program follows the brothers as they tour Africa. The brothers say they always keep their the memory of their mother, Princess Diana, close to their hearts. Says Harry, "Whatever we do, wherever we are, and whoever we're with, I particularly always wonder what she'd think, what she'd be doing if she was with us now."

She's dumped her girlie-girl persona, Hannah Montana. She's asserted her sexuality - but not in a trashy way, mind you.

Now Miley Cyrus is ready to take to the ramparts as bona fide (postfeminist) feminist hero with her new CD, Can't Be Tamed.

"It's all about breaking free, being who you are, and not being afraid to tell the world to back off sometimes, and do your thing and do what makes you happy," Miley tells the Associated Press of the album's philosophical motifs.

She tells MTV News that she's especially proud of her single, "Liberty Walk," and its message.

She wrote it "for women that feel like they're stuck in abusive relationships," Miley says, "but it's a dance song. So you think, 'That must be kind of a sad ballad,' but it's a party song. . . . It's about breaking free."
