Sideshow: 'Rango' lassos $38M at the box office
Plop went the movie box office again this weekend, with the animated Rango hauling in a decent $38 million, and the floor falling open behind. Following the movie, featuring the voice of Johnny Depp as a Wild West sheriff who's also a chameleon, was the Matt Damon-Emily Blunt thriller The Adjustment Bureau at $20 million, while the fantasy Beastly with Alex Pettyfer and Vanessa Hudgens opened at No. 3 with $10.1 million.

Say 'no' to the dress
You may get sicker of the royal wedding than you already are of
Charlie Sheen
, whose mouth apparently took the weekend off. Here's the latest breathless detail:
The Sunday Times reported that eleganza Sarah Burton had been hired to design Kate Middleton's wedding gown. Burton and the chief executive officer of the Alexander McQueen fashion house, where she works, denied it.
That's pretty cool
Christopher Nolan
, who writes and directs mind-benders such as Inception and Memento, would love this.
Miley Cyrus hosted Saturday Night Live this weekend, where she appeared on the fake "Miley Cyrus Show" playing Justin Bieber.
Amanda Bayer, one of the show's funny newcomers, has created an ongoing airhead Miley character, who says "pretty cool" every other phrase. Real Miley was a pretty cool sport. (http://www.hulu.com/watch/221678/saturday-night-live-miley-cyrus-show)
