Will Smith forced to move gigantic trailer

In the post-apocalyptic I Am Legend, Will Smith and a dog had their run of New York City, except for some persistent cannibals infected by a doomsday virus.

In the post-apocalyptic I Am Legend, Will Smith and a dog had their run of New York City, except for some persistent cannibals infected by a doomsday virus.

This week, Smith has gotten word that hogging parts of a block or two can make folks testy in heavily populated Manhattan.

Even Mayor Michael Bloomberg objected to the massive double-decker trailer that Smith had parked on a SoHo street while in town to shoot scenes for Men in Black III.

So on Tuesday, Smith moved his ultra-posh, marble-floored, oversized mobile mansion - including lounge, office, granite bathroom, and kitchen with Italian cherrywood cabinets - to a private lot, along with the second trailer that housed his private gym, according to the New York Post.

The trailer reportedly went the wrong way down two one-way streets on its journey to a Park Fast lot.

Although the West Philly rapper turned movie star initially laughed off the brouhaha as "hilarious," afterward he was peeved to be so far - a half-mile - from the movie set, the Post reported.

Two City Council members talked about setting new limits on how big film production vehicles can get.

Men in Black III, about government agents protecting the world from aliens, is reportedly set for release in May 2012.
