NOTHING'S CONFIRMED yet, but it looks as if Bradley Cooper will be back in town Aug. 27 for an invite-only premiere of "The Words" at the Prince Music Theatre (1412 Chestnut St.).

In the film, Cooper, a Rydal-raised graduate of Germantown Academy, plays an author who steals from an older writer and takes great lengths to try to cover his tracks.

The film also features Dennis Quaid, Jeremy Irons and Cooper's former girlfriend Zoe Saldana and was co-written and co-directed by two of Cooper's childhood pals: Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal, whose credits include "Tron: Legacy."

The film opens nationwide Sept. 7.

Everybody loves mini-golf

Ray Romano tried his putting stroke at the Flamingo miniature-golf course in Surf City, Long Beach Island, the other night.

The "Everybody Loves Raymond" star worked on his regular golf game with coach Hank Haney on the Golf Channel's "Haney Project" a few seasons ago, and his lessons may have translated well to mini-golf, said our spy, who thought the comedian looked pretty good on the par-42 course.

Mimi's back on RuPaul show

Philly drag queen Mimi Imfurst will return to "RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race" in October when the LOGO reality show has a six-episode all-star season.

Imfurst, who moved to New York but still hosts the Dollhouse Revue on Wednesdays at Voyeur (1221 St. James St.), was kicked off in Season 3 after picking up India Ferrah during the Lip Sync for Your Life portion of the competition. "Drag is not a contact sport," Ru admonished.

Other queens include Chad Michaels, Yara Sofia, Pandora Boxx, Jujubee, Nina Flowers, Raven and Latrice Royale.

Buffett lands at Steel Pier

Although many of his Parrothead fans probably dealt with Shore traffic this weekend, Jimmy Buffett did not. He arrived in Atlantic City by helicopter Saturday afternoon, landing on the Steel Pier before his sold-out show at Boardwalk Hall.

The Steel Pier heliport overlooks the spot where Buffett's restaurant, Margaritaville, will open next year as part of the Resorts Casino and Hotel complex. Buffett was greeted by Steel Pier owners Anthony and Billy Catanoso and their brothers Joe and Jimmy.

Apollo Creed to visit ‘Rocky' turf

"Rocky" star Carl Weathers will appear at Monster Mania 22, Aug. 17-19 at the Cherry Hill Crowne Plaza. It's the actor's first convention appearance on U.S. soil.

Cherry Hil native Lauren Cohan and a handful of her "Walking Dead" co-stars will also appear at the event, as will Nancy Allen, who appeared opposite John Travolta in Brian DePalma's excellent 1984 thriller "Blow Out."

Joey Lauren Adams, who appeared in Kevin Smith's "Chasing Amy" and "Mallrats," not to mention "Dazed and Confused," will also participate in the Monster Mania show — which includes a 25th-anniversary "Hellraiser" cast reunion and an appearance by the Hanson Brothers of "Slap Shot" fame: Steve Carlson, Jeff Carlson and David Hanson.

She's a winner to him

Cherry Hill's Casey Exton, publisher of Outlaw Biker magazine, considers "Empty Nest" actress Park Overall a winner, despite the fact that she came in third in the Tennessee primary for the U.S. Senate seat held by Bob Corker. Exton campaigned for Overall, who appeared on the cover of his magazine in 1992 and was Miss Outlaw Biker in 1991 and 1992. Casey, who used to own a racing stable, says he bet on all his horses to win, place or show. "Park came in third of seven candidates, which I consider great for her first political contest," Exton said.
