Join Byers' Choice in celebrating the life and legacy of the great Charles Dickens on his 200th birthday. The weekend-

long party includes a meet-and-

greet with Gerald Dickens, great-great-

grandson of the author, who performs scenes from Dickens' works, and numerous other events, such as "A Victorian Christmas" by the Magic Lantern and Punch and Judy puppet shows. Portside Arts Center hosts the fifth annual Lehigh Avenue Arts Festival for a day of fun and fund-raising. Come out to Port Richmond and enjoy live music, games, craft vendors, and a moon bounce for the kids, among many other attractions. Calling Sunday riders

Motorcyclists can take in the scenery while raising money for a deserving cause during the Philadelphia Ride for Kids. Donations go to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. After a free light lunch, riders can hear stories of child brain tumor survivors at the Celebration of Life program. Registration open 8 to 9:45 a.m. Ride begins promptly at 10 a.m., leaving from Valley Forge Christian College, Pinecrest Street, across from Solomon's Porch Building, in Phoenixville. Native American Day

Come to Norristown Farm Park for a celebration of Native American heritage at the annual Native American Day. Artifacts from the Indian Artifact Collectors Association of the Northeast will be on display, and visitors can bring in Native American items to be appraised.
