Keystone choir in holiday song

Singers to perform a free concert at St. Monica's in Berwyn.

The Keystone State Boychoir returns to the Church of St. Monica in Berwyn this season to perform a free Sunday concert for the Music at Monica's series. The choir will be accompanied by local harpist Jordan Thomas.

The singers will perform classical composer Benjamin Britten's Christmas choral piece Ceremony of Carols (Op. 28). Composed of boys 8 to 18, the group has performed in countries including Vietnam, Austria, and South Africa. Harpist Thomas, a native Philadelphian now a junior at Johns Hopkins University studying music, is also a founding member of the choir. Performance begins at 4 p.m.

Family Jams at Magic Gardens

On Sunday, celebrate the Mexican tradition of Las Posadas through arts and crafts at Philadelphia's Magic Gardens' God's Eyes and Piñatas Party.

Workshop participants will make piñatas filled with treats to prepare for Las Posadas, the nine-day celebration leading to Christmas. Families can also make yarn crafts called Ojos de Dios, or God's Eyes, a tradition of the Huichol people of western Mexico in which an eye is woven for each year of a newborn's life up to age 5. The workshop is offered from noon to 4 p.m. and children can take 30-minute kid-friendly tours of the gardens at 1 and 3 p.m.

The God's Eyes and Piñatas Party is part of the monthly Family Jam workshop series.

Brunch With Santa at A.C. Country Club

Kids can have brunch with Santa Claus on Sunday at the Atlantic City Country Club in Northfield, N.J., while helping to make sure all children have a happy Christmas.

Kids will also be able to have a photo with Santa taken by the club's staff photographer. To help those less fortunate, there will be a Toys for Tots drop box. If you miss Santa on Sunday, he will return for brunch on Dec. 16 and Dec 23.
